Create a History Timeline

Title: Create and store a history timeline
Description: Develop and store a unique history timeline,  available for modification by others in our easy-to-learn Workspace
Tags: free,  online,  timeline,  gantt chart,  history timeline,  template

Develop and make available to others your own unique history timeline.  If someone else is currently using this feature  (Available Now)  you will need to come back later to save or modify your history timeline.  All features for creating and modifying the chart  (colors,  fonts,  note,  legend,  graph,  nickname,  print mode,  etc. are available for your use.

  To develop your history timeline:
Select an existing  history template and modify it  (press the 'Take to Workspace' button below)
       Or
Save what you have  in the Workspace right now as a unique history template  (press the 'save as a History Template' button below.  You can go back to the Workspace and modify it as much as you want  (be sure to save your changes).
       Or
Develop your unique history template from  a new chart  (press the 'Start a new Chart' button below).  This will take you into the Workspace ready to define a new chart,  and then to add your own task and milestone data  (be sure to Save the chart as your final step).

These free templates (Gantt Charts) of historic timelines can be useful to others for understanding the big picture of history.  Obviously,  much information is left out when using a Gantt Chart like these to represent history.  However,  this can be an advantage,  as too much detail can be confusing and interfere with an overal comprehension.  If a person has an overall understanding about the order of events  (a structure),  learning history can be less chaotic,  and more a matter of understanding rather than memorization.   Learning the involved details of history can then  'flesh out'  the structure,  and leave a person with a more coherent vision of important historical information.

history timelines/templates Each of these 3 buttons takes you to the Workspace.
Save your chart in the Workspace.  Please log out when done.
