This Gantt Chart is available as a template for you to modify.

   2.  Develop an action plan (Gantt Chart) to submit with your grant application.                  more discussion
Show the grantor that you know what can be accomplished with the grant.

Your action plan can use headings like Phase I, Phase II, etc.
Headings do not have to be firm dates.

A template of a common plan is useful simply because it is common.  The template gives us the benefit of historical experience.  Don't re-invent the wheel unless you really have a new design for the wheel.

Non-profit organizations commonly and regularly submit a grant application.  Use the template shown on this page to ensure that your plan or schedule for your grant application is complete and approximately correct.  You can think of this template as a grant application checklist.

A graphical representation of a common plan  (a Gantt Chart)  is particularly useful because it omits detail which is unnecessary for many persons,  particularly for senior management.  Your board of directors or supervisor can see at a glance what steps you will need to take,  and in what order to submit the grant application.

Time considered of course,  there is no such thing as a free grant application,  but our free online software for creating your grant application timeline can help you approach this goal.
